Odario Williams is a Canadian broadcaster, award winning hip-hop artist and all 'round storyteller. He was born in Guyana, raised in Winnipeg and now works in Toronto as one of Canada’s coolest voices. He is the host of CBC Music’s weekly nighttime program Afterdark.
Odario has a long running passion for curation and bringing people together with memorable musical moments, whether on-air or on stage. He is also a recognized “master of ceremonies” for various industry events. Lately, he’s hosted the Western Canadian Music Awards, the Juno Awards Gala and most recently, the 2026 Polaris Music Prize. Music has always been Odario’s foundation... and storytelling has always been his passion.
